Who I Am & What Drives Me
With nearly two decades of experience in brand marketing and strategy, including 7 years in agency roles, I’ve dedicated my career to helping brands grow by deeply understanding their audiences and crafting data-driven, integrated marketing campaigns that reach and resonate.
My approach is grounded in three principles: know your audience, connect with purpose, and communicate with consistency. My projects often involve leading cross-functional teams to execute multi-channel campaigns driven by qualitative and quantitative research that drive strategy by enabling me to refine brand positioning and uncover consumer insights, creating cohesive and meaningful consumer experiences.
My passion for impactful marketing has been recognized with industry awards, including the Outstanding Overall Marketing Program from the Oregon Travel and Tourism Industry Achievement Awards, an acknowledgment of the transformative results achieved targeting young adults in the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest. The print, digital and social campaign connected with travelers interested in adventure, trying new things and making memories. Website sessions increased 141 percent and the California audience grew by 334 percent. Most telling of the campaign’s success, occupancy rates rose by 4.9 percent.
Over the years, I have championed efforts to drive positive change and foster inclusivity within the industry and beyond. Previously, I had the privilege of serving as President of the Caribbean Advertising Federation. In this role, I championed initiatives to elevate the voices of Caribbean creatives, supported advertising standards, and promoted growth opportunities within a region spanning twelve countries. This experience deepened my appreciation for diverse storytelling and the need to celebrate unique cultural narratives in marketing. I have also used my role in the industry to address the importance of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), actively working to advocate for equitable practices, ensuring diverse perspectives are represented and valued, and ensuring access for diverse talent, vendors, and partners.
